Assembly / Production Operative
Location: Shrewsbury

Pay: 500 p/w

An established manufacturer of commercial floor cleaning and maintenance equipment based in Shrewsbury is looking to recruit an Assembler / Production Operative to join its growing production team.

The business manufactures high-quality industrial floor cleaning machines used in warehouses, healthcare settings, factories, public buildings, and commercial environments throughout the UK and overseas.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with assembly, production, or factory experience to join a stable and well-established engineering manufacturer with long-term opportunities.

Duties include:

• Assembly of electrical and mechanical components used in commercial floor cleaning equipment
• Using hand and power tools to build and fit machine parts
• Mechanical fitting and basic electrical assembly work
• Picking, packing, and preparing parts for production
• Following assembly drawings, instructions, and quality procedures
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience preferred
• Experience of electrical or mechanical assembly would be advantageous
• Good practical skills and ability to use hand tools
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm
